報告題目：Stability Analysis for the Incompressible Navier-Stokes Equations with Navier Boundary Conditions
報告人簡介：丁時進(jìn)，1959 年出生，博士、華南師范大學(xué)二級教授、博士生導(dǎo)師。1996 年在蘇州大學(xué)獲博 士學(xué)位，師從姜禮尚教授。1996 年至 1998 年在北京應(yīng)用物理與計算數(shù)學(xué)研究所做博士后， 師從郭柏靈院士。研究方向:偏微分方程。2004 年至 2014 年先后擔(dān)任華南師范大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)科學(xué)學(xué)院副院長、院長。2014 年 12 月至 2017 年 10 月任華南師范大學(xué)人事處處長。2017 年 12 月至今，任華南師范大學(xué)華南數(shù)學(xué)應(yīng)用與交叉研究中心常務(wù)副主任。2007 年至 2015 年任中國數(shù)學(xué)會理事，廣東省數(shù)學(xué)會副理事長，2008 年至 2018 年任廣東省工業(yè)與應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)會副理事長。1999 年至今先后主持國家自然科學(xué)基金面上項目 5 項、廣東省自然科學(xué)基金面上項目5項、教育部博士點(diǎn) 基金項目 1 項;參加國家 973 項目 2 項。發(fā)表論文 70 多篇，出版教材一部，出版專著一部。 主要研究 Navier-Stokes 方程、超導(dǎo)模型、鐵磁鏈模型、液晶模型的數(shù)學(xué)理論。2012 年被評 為廣東省南粵優(yōu)秀教師，2015 年獲教育部自然科學(xué)二等獎(Landau-Lifshitz 方程適定性理論 研究，排名第一)，2016 年獲國務(wù)院政府特殊津貼。
內(nèi)容摘要：This talk is concerned with the instability and stability of the trivial steady states of the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations with Navier-slip boundary conditions in a slab domain in dimension two. The main results show that the stability (or instability) of this constant equilibrium depends crucially on whether the boundaries dissipate energy and the strengthen of the viscosity and slip length. It is shown that in the case that when all the boundaries are dissipative, then nonlinear asymptotic stability holds true. Otherwise, there is a sharp critical viscosity, which distinguishes the linear and nonlinear stability from instability. This is a joint work with Quanrong Li and Zhouping Xin.
