內容摘要：The finite volume element method (FVEM, also known as the generalized finite difference method) is one of the main discretizations for PDEs. The FVEM is associated with primary and dual meshes, which are coupled different meshes. Currently, the L2 order of FVEM strongly depends on the choice of duality. This talk will provide a review of the construction and L2 results for FVEM.
報告人簡介：王翔，吉林大學數(shù)學學院副教授，博士生導師。2016年獲得吉林大學理學博士學位。主要從事偏微分方程有限體積法和相場模型數(shù)值算法等方面的研究，研究工作涉及有限體積法的格式構造、誤差分析和超收斂，以及相場模型時間高精度算法等方面，相關結果發(fā)表于《SIAM J. Numer. Anal.》《Math. Comput.》《J. Comput. Phy.》《Sci. China Math.》《Adv. Comput. Math.》等雜志。
